Our league season came to an end on Saturday away to high fliers Caerphilly at Virginia Park. Despite injuries taking their toll on the squad the players again played with great pride and determination. The final score wasn't a true reflection of how close the game was with the Fleur scrum putting their opposition in all kinds of trouble throughout and a area where the referee was very kind to the host team. But credit to caerphilly who were very clinical and when they created a chance or were gifted an opportunity they scored. Try scorers on the day were captain M Dimmick and K wheeler with a brace.
The players will have a well earned rest this weekend in preparation for the Ben Francis final against Caerleon on Wednesday 10th May at Blackwood with a 7.15 kick off time
