First XV go out with a bang.

Although already relegated the First XV entertained Cardiff Quins at Trelyn Park for their final game in Division One East on Wednesday night. With Flower winning a bonus point game comfortable by 49-5, without doubt it proved that if all the players selected could have made at least half of the games during the season then the club could have stayed up?

In a game where 7 tries were scored by the Flower boy’s, it was great for the supporters to enjoy the game just like the old times, and hopefully more of them will return in the not too distant future.

On Thursday night the Youth travelled up the valley where they played the top of the league Rhymney Youth. Although they lost 29-13 on the night it was only in the last 10 minutes when Flower was down to 14 men that Rhymney eventually scored their 3rd & 4th tries. Scorers for the Youth in a great display on the night were Macauley Dimmick & Sean Morris who scored tries and Ieuan Hale who kicked a penalty.
