After a bright (ish) start Fleur were unfortunately dispatched last Saturday afternoon by 4 tries to nil.
The stark reality of not securing your own ball in both lineout and scrum highlighted the major difference betweent the two teams.
Penallta were able to control the game for large periods and only great defending particularly from blind side Luke Morgan denied Penallta further opportunities.
Fleur were left wondering what if and demands now are to improve 100% against Senghenydd at home on the 13th who themselves beat Glamorgan Wandereres in a high scoring game by 42 points to 33.
Penallta will undoubtedly improve so Fleur must look to emulate the more established sides if they are to gain a foothold in this new look league structure.
