Following their succesful tour to Lloret de Mar Flower returned to league duty last Saturday playing Abertysswg in the final league game of the season. In front of quite a large set of supporters from both clubs, both teams threw caution to the wind and run the ball at every opportunity. Flower eventually secured their first league win of the season by outpointing their visitors 28 - 24. Try scorers on the day were Jordan Clash, Kris Wheeler & Aaron Lloyd, Jordan Clash added 2 penalties and 2 conversions and Aaron Lloyd added his first drop goal of the season. Credit must be given to Abertysswg who were in the game right up until the final whistle, but at the end of the day Flower just done enough to deserve the win.

In Lloret the Flower travelled to play Osona RFC and eventually won by 56 - 27 scorers for Flower were Dale Vokes, Mark Thomas, Ieuan Hale and Ellis Roach who all scored 2 tries apiece and Ieuan Hale added 8 conversions. It must be mentioned that the hospitality and welcome of the host's in Spain was tremendous and hopefully Fleur de lys RFC can return the hospitality sometime in the not to distant future.

An excellent final week of a very long hard season, hopefully the Flower can now build on something positive for next season, well done guys....
